How The GIP™ Works:


U.S. personal injury claimants are awarded structured settlements by the U.S. Courts that often comprise of a regular income combined with period large lump sum payments. These settlements are paid by major U.S. insurance companies rated AAA to –A. In the unlikely event of the insurer being unable to meet its liabilities, there is a statutory compensation scheme that provides a minimum $100,000 protection for each settlement policy. For various reasons many claimants choose to sell their future injury payments for an immediate cash sum. This is achieved by transferring their benefits to an investor for a reduced cash payment. The transaction must be approved by a U.S. Court of Law and administered by a licensed U.S. Broker. Private investors therefore receive the benefits of these policies that have been legally re-assigned by a U.S. Court of Law. Investors then receive a ‘Certificate of Safe Custody’ that evidences their rights to the future income streams and/or lump sum capital payments. Furthermore, new assignees (investors) receive copies of the U.S. Court documentation that confirms the whole process.

The Investment Process for: ‘Professional Financial Advisers’


1. Complete and return the illustration request attachment

2. Complete and return the application form received with your illustration

3. Sign your acceptance of the illustration then send it direct to Capital Guarantee LLC together with the application form and anti money laundering documents.

4. Telegraphic transfer 10% of your investment (reservation deposit) to Capital Guarantee LLC.

5. Capital Guarantee LLC will request the purchase balance (90%), normally within 7 days of the court transfer hearing.

6. On receipt of the purchase balance by Capital Guarantee LLC, you will be forwarded an acknowledgement.

7. When the U.S. court has endorsed the transfer, copies of these court documents will be sent to you that evidence the transfer, together with a Certificate of Safe Custody and sealed schedule that will name you as the legal Assignee of the structured settlement benefits.

 



Your structured maturities


Income and/or capital payments will be credited to your nominated bank or held (tax free) in the Swiss Trust ‘client account’ pending your instructions. If your investment consists of a regular income stream, it is advisable to open a U.S. dollar account when the income commences. Also be aware of exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges if you need to convert to a different currency.

 
Anti-money laundering.


A copy of your passport(s) certified by a Bank Manager, Police or Lawyer is required with all applications, together with an original utility bill such as, electricity, rates or gas that shows your normal address. Alternatively an original bank statement/correspondence that shows your residence will suffice.
